"Rederij Lampedusa is an art project by Teun Castelein and consists of a small fleet of boats that he brought to the Netherlands from Lampedusa in Italy. Boats used for the dangerous crossing from Africa to Europe. Here they have a new future as a tour boat. with a special crew from all over the world.Exhibition space 38CC brought the boat Meneer Vrijdag to Delft as part of the exhibition program What Next - Picture Tomorrow. In collaboration with Stichting Delfts Peil, a special cultural programming has been established. On and around the boat a program with theater, music, stories, film, performances and lectures took place for four days. , migration, hope and expectations for the future, as various Delft organizations contributed n and a little bit extra.
