Will you become a mysterious forest creature, a funny animal, an alien figure, or something that only exists in your dreams? Everything is possible! You decide who or what you want to become, then start kneading, rolling, and felting until your mask is complete.

'Treasures from the Future'

Workshop by Silke Riis

Age: 6 and up

Join artist Silke Riis on an exciting adventure and become a real future archaeologist! Imagine it’s the year 5201 and you’ve just discovered something strange beneath the sand... What could it be? A piece of robot plant? A fossil from an extinct species? Or a mysterious object that no one remembers how to use? In this workshop, we’ll imagine what kind of mysterious things might be discovered in the future. Using clay and other materials, we’ll sculpt our own finds as if we just unearthed them!

'Imagine your Memories of Tomorrow with AI'

Workshop door Joeri Ista

Age: 10 and up

In this workshop, you'll imagine a day in the future — something that hasn’t happened yet, but you already “remember”! Together with artist Shizhe Qian, you'll take a journey to tomorrow, next week, or even a hundred years from now. You’ll begin by drawing your future memory. Maybe it’s a flying bike, a party on Mars, or a meeting with a talking giant. Then we’ll scan your drawing, and Shizhe will show you how to give your vision a digital twist using Artificial Intelligence (AI). Finally, you'll continue enhancing your artwork, frame it, and draw directly on the glass to make it your own.

'Create a 3D Insect World'

Workshop by Luna van der Straaten

Age: 8 and up

Dive into the fascinating world of tiny critters and hidden natural treasures with artist Luna van der Straaten. In this workshop, you'll become a real insect biologist — someone who knows all about crawling beetles, tiny legs, and shiny wings. What kinds of adventures do these little creatures have? Bring your own nature finds and build a real 3D collage. Anything goes: cutting, pasting, drawing, and stacking.

'Build Alien Towers'

Workshop by Fedrik Vaessen

Age: 8 and up

Imagine being on another planet and seeing a tower there. What would it look like? Is it super tall, bent, sparkling, or completely bizarre? What is it made of, and what is it used for? Inspired by the exciting works of artist Fedrik Vaessen, you’ll work in small groups to build a tower from all kinds of materials — a tower no one has ever seen before.

'Paint your own Future Planet'

Workshop by Bobbi Cleij

Age: 6 and up

Join us on a journey to your own future planet! In this workshop, together with Bobbi Cleij, you'll use large cardboard sheets and paint to create your own world. Who lives there? Maybe a weird creature with a chocolate six-pack on its belly or eyes that look like disco balls? And what do the cars look like? What strange flowers grow there? You can invent anything you like! Create a unique world filled with strange animals, plants, and things that don’t exist — yet. Let your imagination run wild!
